As part of their ongoing efforts to partner with and support the work of The Salvation Army in their local community, members of the Desert Vista High School Red Kettle Club spent this past Saturday at their neighborhood Safeway store. They stood at the red kettle, rang bells and even strummed their ukuleles! Throughout the day, they met countless shoppers with a smile and they shared some holiday cheer. As a result, the group was able to raise $805.83 – it was a great day and they did some incredible work! Many thanks to the local community for their generous show of support for these dedicated students and the work of The Salvation Army.
